There are 3 scenarios and solutions below for the Yakima owner who does not know their key number.
Scenario 1
Your Yakima rack is locked and you have lost your Yakima keys
Come by any Rack N Road and bring your locked Yakima rack or any locked Yakima rack accessory you have such as a bike tray, ski rack or cargo box.
We will use our Yakima master key solution to find your Yakima key number
Get your replacement Yakima key. We have all Yakima replacement key codes in stock!
Scenario 2
Your Yakima rack is unlocked and you have lost or misplaced your Yakima key & the Yakima control key (to pull the core)
Come by any Rack N Road and bring your locked Yakima rack or any locked Yakima rack accessory you have such as a bike tray, ski rack or cargo box.
We’ll use a Yakima control key to pull one of your unlocked Yakima lock cores and identify your Yakima key number
Get your replacement Yakima key. We have all Yakima replacement key codes in stock!
Scenario 3
Your Yakima rack is unlocked and you have lost your Yakima key but you have the Yakima control key
Use the Yakima control key to remove one of your unlocked Yakima lock cores
On the side of the Yakima lock core, identify your Yakima key number
