All vehicles require approved crossbars — preferably locking. Your cargo box locks to the crossbars, but most factory crossbars aren’t locked to your vehicle. Locking crossbars secure both your rack and your box to your roof.
Don’t see your vehicle? Unless it’s a convertible, we can fit a cargo box to it.

Cargo Box FAQ
How much does installation cost? Starts at $50. Boxes run $400–$900+. We quote the full system upfront — no surprises.
Do I need a roof rack? Yes — boxes mount to crossbars, not your roof. We’ll tell you exactly what your vehicle needs.
What size box should I get? Compact (10–13 cu ft) for weekends. Midsize (14–16) for families. Large (17–22) for ski trips.
Will it scratch my roof? Not with a proper install. The box clamps to crossbars — never touches your roof.
Can I leave it on all the time? You can, but fuel economy drops 10–25%. Most boxes have quick-mount for easy removal.
Thule or Yakima? Both excellent. We carry both and can put each on your roof to compare before you decide.
European cars? Every day. BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Volvo, Porsche, Land Rover — we stock model-specific fit kits.
Can I install it myself? Doable, but most self-installs have issues. Pro install takes 20–30 minutes.
Why buy here vs. online? We put it on your car before you pay. Wrong fit online = shipping back a 50-lb box on your dime.
Car wash safe? No. The box and most rack accessories must be removed before an automated car wash.
Hit a low clearance? We can often repair cracks with fiberglass resin. Text us a photo — repairs start at $100.
