The Yakima RibCage is a high capacity track system for Jeep Wrangler hardtops. The internal support structure ratchets up the off-road carrying capacity to safely and confidently carry roof top tents, recovery gear and just about anything else you can throw up there. RibCage is compatible with traditional Yakima towers and crossbars or LockNLoad platform rack systems. We are taking pre-orders now. Please call your local store for details.
FEATURES
- Off-road rated up to a 330lb dynamic load rating and a 825lb static load rating.
- 48" HD Track sections allows for variable crossbar spreads to support 2 or 3 bar or multiple tower LockNLoad platform setups.
- Freedom panels are removable while system is in use and is easily disconnected to fully remove your hardtop.
- Rooftop Tent compatible
- The internal supports attach to the roll cage ensuring lateral stability for maximum strength.
- The minimal footprint of the internal supports will not intrude on your passenger or cargo space.
- Complete the system with either Yakima TrackTower or Yakima SkyLine Tower when paired with Landing Pad 26; sold separately.
- End caps allow installation of T-slot hardware without having to remove caps.
- Compatible with Jeep Wrangler JL 4dr Hardtop models only.
Special order items will incur a 20% restocking fee. Special order items include but are not limited to: trailer hitches, side steps, tonneau covers, floor mats, and other non-stocked or unique items that are often (but not always) tailored to an individual vehicle.
There are no returns on tire chains. If it is a warranty situation, we can provide the contact information for the manufacturer.
During peak seasons, deposits are required to hold an appointment. Rack N Road will call the day before to confirm the appointment time. We usually recommend a week in advance to schedule appointments, but certain seasons are busier than others and timing varies across all locations.
